Knew better than to go against my gut feeling.
Knew betta than to trust a MF.
Knew better than to do somethin jus cause "da people" wanted me to.
Knew better than to stop doing somethin cuz "da people" told me to.
Knew better than to not hang out wit a MF cuz da people didnt want me to....

Yup. I knew better. 

Knew better than to trus a MF when they have no clue why I did wut I did or the choices I had to choose from. 

Definitely knew better.
